A lot of people feel the holidays are the happiest time of the year, but that’s not the case for everyone. “Holiday Spirits” explored the darker aspects of the season, such as feeling secluded amidst friends and family or smiling on the outside while crying on the inside.
The “Holiday Spirits” series was on display in Brainerd, Minn., in December, 2014, as part of the Artaversaries show “Common Thread.”
